In the event of a crash, the steering lugs on the steering head can break off causing the steering wheel to overshoot causing additional damage to the tank and more. The steering cam protectors are often used on the racetrack and not on public roads. We therefore strongly advise against driving on public roads with the R&G Handlebar cam protectors due to the considerably larger turning circle!
