Avoid (accidentally) touching the brake lever while driving. If the brake lever is touched, there is a chance that the front wheel will lock. Originally, the brake lever protector was developed in Moto2 competition and now the protection is required during almost all motorcycle racing competitions. MotoGP riders such as Valentino Rossi have seen crashes prevented by the brake lever protection. Easy to assemble in minutes. The R&G brake lever protector is also called Brake Lever Guard.
