When there is no thread in the swingarm to mount a bobbin, the R&G "Offset Cotton Reels" can be used. For example, a bobbin can still be mounted on the motorcycle via the chain tensioner/rear axle, so that the motorcycle can be parked safely and securely with a paddock stand. The bobbins also protect the swingarm in the event of a fall.
