Aprilia

With 294 Moto-GP victories, Aprilia is the manufacturer with the most victories in the history of the motorcycle championship. Aprilia started producing motorcycles in the late 1960s and in 1970 Aprilia produced a 50cc dirt bike that would grow to a 125 cc until it built its first competition motorcycle in the mid-1970s. After Aprilia's debut in motocross in 1975, Aprilia makes its debut in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship in a challenge from the Japanese considered unbeatable in the extremely competitive 250 cc class. In 1988, Aprilia debuted in the 125 cc class and immediately took its first podium in the eighth liter category in the French GP.

Aprilia has implemented their technologies into their street bikes. State-of-the-art technology and a sporty personality are characteristics that Aprilia motorcycles possess. The Aprilia motorcycle range has established absolute technological leadership. The bike's impeccable chassis - always a major Aprilia strength - is combined with the latest engine technology (the RSV4 is the only mass-produced racing V4 engine in the world) and an unquestionable primacy in electronic bicycle support systems. With every Aprilia motorcycle, the experience gained from racing events around the world is transferred to the everyday user, to improve performance and safety.

Today, the extensive Aprilia motorcycle range presents a varied range of models, whose common features are state-of-the-art technology and a sporty personality: from the twin-cylinder naked Shiver 750 to the Dorsoduro supermotard (in two displacements, 750 and 1200) ), from the Mana 850, the world's first automatic motorcycle, to the very last entry, the Caponord 1200, a formidable tourer, from the supernaked Tuono V4 to the RSV4 family, available in two versions, the R and the factory, direct on the reigning world SBK champion bike.

Aprilia became part of the Piaggio group in 2004. With the reorganization of the Noale Racing division, the group broadened the horizons of its racing activities, from the return to off-road competitions to the world superbike debut in 2009 of the Aprilia RSV4. This highly successful project secured seven world titles from 2010 to 2014.
